# Transfer

Fees are only charged when Transferred from you, not charged on the Receipt.

### Base Fee Rate

The standard fee rate is set at **0.20%** per transfer.

## Fee Scenarios

### Scenario 1: Small Transfer

### Additional FAQs:

#### Do I pay fees when receiving tokens?

No, only the sender pays transfer fees.

#### Can fees change?

Yes, the project can update fee rates, but all changes are transparent and visible on-chain.

#### How can I check the fee before transferring?

Most Solana wallets show the fee breakdown before you confirm:

#### What if I don't have enough tokens for the fee?

The transaction will fail.

Make sure you have enough tokens to cover both the amount you want to send and the fee.

#### Where does the fee go?

When you transfer T-Tokens, the fees are split to:

* Your referrer
* Tessera's Treasury

This creates a sustainable ecosystem where fees support development, rewards, community, and referrers.
